On June 5th, California will be holding its primary election and with over 20 million registered voters in the state of California, it is reported that only 6 million will turn out to cast their vote. It is more crucial than ever to have votes casted for the upcoming election because for this year’s ballot, votes will be casted for a new governor, 20 of the 40 seats in the CA Senate, and all of the 53 seats in the House of Representatives.
These votes are the building blocks moving in to our midterm election in November and will help determine who will continue to represent our state on major issues such as climate change, immigration, and gun control in our nation’s capitol for the next few years.
